氣運 Korean saju, made social
What's your kiun? The Korean birth chart for your vibelove lifegroup chat2027career movessituationshipvibevibe
One birthday. 60 types. Find the energy you were born with — calculated the way Korean saju masters have for a thousand years, then translated for you and your friends.
60 Kiun Types
Like MBTI, but you were born with it.
Your type is your day pillar — the stem and branch of the day you were born. Sixty combinations, each with its own personality.
Four pillars, eight characters
Your birthday, decoded
into eight characters.
Year, month, day and hour each become a pillar: a heavenly stem on top, an earthly branch below. Tap around a real chart.
This is you — the Day Master. Every other character in the chart is read in relation to this one. As mountain, your core energy is earth: stability, trust, holding space.
Stability, trust, holding space. Earth is where everyone lands.
Five elements 五行
Everything is wood, fire, earth, metal or water.
Each element feeds one and checks another. That loop is the grammar of every saju reading.
Fire
Warmth, expression, visibility. Fire lights up rooms and people.
Your chart is a mix of these five. Kiun reads which ones you have too much of, which you're missing, and what that means for your energy — and for who you click with.
Compatibility 궁합
Koreans check this before the first date.
Pick any two types and see how their stems and branches interact — every point of the score comes with a reason.
Rare match
- Heavenly match
丙 and 辛 form a classic stem combination — natural pull toward each other.
- Push and pull
Fire checks metal — sparks that can sharpen or wear you down.
- Secret harmony
Horse and Goat are a six-harmony pair — comfortable in private, a team in public.
Accuracy
Built like a manseryeok, not a horoscope.
The same birth data always gives the same eight characters. Here's where other apps quietly get it wrong.
Born Feb 4, 2000 at 9:00 PM in New York?
Most zodiac apps switch years at Lunar New Year — Feb 5 in 2000.
Saju years start at 立春 Ipchun, the Start of Spring — Feb 4, 2000, 7:40 AM EST. You were born after it.

FAQ
Questions, answered.
What is saju?+
Saju (사주, “four pillars”) is the Korean form of East Asian birth-chart reading. Your birth year, month, day and hour each become a pillar of two characters — eight in total — describing your elemental makeup. In Korea it's everyday culture: people check it before dating, marriage, and big career moves.
Is it the same as Chinese BaZi?+
Same root, same eight characters. Kiun follows Korean conventions and interpretation style, and translates everything into plain English so you don't need to know a single term.
Do I need my birth time?+
Not for your Kiun Type — that comes from your birth date alone. Your full chart (all four pillars) needs the time and city. If you don't know your time, the app reads three pillars instead.
How accurate is the calculation?+
The math is deterministic: the same birth data always gives the same eight characters. We use astronomical solar terms (not calendar approximations), local solar time from your birthplace's longitude, and full historical time-zone and daylight-saving data.
Is it free?+
Your type, your daily card and a friend compatibility check are free. Kiun+ adds in-depth compatibility, monthly and yearly forecasts and more questions to Ask Kiun.
What happens to my birthday?+
On this page, your type is calculated in your browser — your birthday isn't sent anywhere. In the app, birth data is used only to compute your chart, and you can delete it at any time.
